Title: Performance Media Buyer (Meta / IG) – B2B Lead Gen
About the Role
We’re looking for a performance-driven Media Buyer to own and scale our paid social acquisition on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) to recruit mortgage loan officers to our mortgage company & generate leads for our services we sell to mortgage loan officers. This is not a “post pretty content” role. You will be judged on pipeline: qualified calls, CAC, and ROAS.
Advertising is the core skill that lets a business buy growth on demand.
You must be fluent in Eugene Schwartz’s 5 levels of awareness and able to build campaigns that move prospects from unaware to most aware using different hooks, angles, and creatives.
Compensation is between $3,000 - $5,000 USD based on proof of experience and results.
What You’ll Own
* Own Meta / IG ads strategy, setup, optimization, and scaling for lead generation (booked calls, not just leads).
* Map our target market into awareness levels (Unaware, Problem Aware, Solution Aware, Product Aware, Most Aware) and design campaigns for each stage.
* Research and write 40–50 new hooks per week, distributed across awareness levels, using our past winners, competitor ads, and top-performing content as inputs.
* Build and test multiple “meats” (ad bodies): demos, testimonials, education, and story-driven creatives that plug into those hooks.
* Manage and optimize campaigns daily: bids, budgets, audiences, placements, and creative rotation with a clear testing roadmap.
* Track and report performance: CPL, cost per qualified call, show-up rate, CAC, and ROAS.
* Collaborate with sales and leadership to align offers, landing pages, and follow-up with what’s actually converting.
* Create a simple marketing “machine”: a repeatable process for generating more, better, and new ads every week so we are never reliant on one winning campaign.
Requirements
* 3+ years hands-on experience running conversion-focused Meta / IG campaigns (not just boosting posts).
* Experience working in the US market
* Proven track record driving B2B leads or high-ticket service leads with clear CPL / CAC / ROAS numbers.
* Deep technical competence with Meta Ads Manager: pixel / CAPI, standard events, custom conversions, lead forms, and landing page funnels.
* Strong direct-response fundamentals: headlines, hooks, offers, and understanding of the 5 levels of awareness in practice.
* Comfortable generating a high volume of creative tests (copy + basic creatives) and iterating from data. 80 percent of the work is in hook prep, not pressing “publish.”
* Analytical: can pull data, spot patterns, and make decisions without hand-holding.
Nice to Have
* Experience with other platforms (Google, YouTube, TikTok, ) and basic landing page / funnel tools.
* Experience in financial services, mortgage, or similar regulated B2B environments.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
* Launch full-funnel campaigns across at least 3 awareness levels.
* Hit agreed target CPL and cost per qualified booked call.
* Build a repeatable weekly creative testing rhythm (hooks + ads) that can be scaled with more budget and/or more staff.
