Business Development Role
Seeking a business development professional to manage sales in the assigned geographical region and key account relationships. This includes protecting existing business and growing sales with existing and prospective customers in the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet and exceed sales objectives in the assigned region.
* Penetrate and develop relationships with assigned account targets.
* Compile strategies and plans to grow business in specified customers, markets, or geographic regions.
* Populate and maintain the CRM pipeline with impeccable accuracy to measure success.
* Understand and communicate market trends and competition for the region.
* Secure contracts for new projects to lock in growth.
* Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
* Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships.

Requirements:
* Degree in a related field, with 5 to 10 years of experience in business development.
* Proven success, knowledge, and experience growing sales.
* Experience working in a manufacturing industry is desirable.
* Pipeline management and forecasting skills including sales planning and territory management.
* Building relationships, managing sales processes, and negotiation skills.
* Market knowledge, providing input into budgets and forecasting.
* Growth driven, meeting regional sales goals, pipeline management, negotiation skills, selling to customer need.
* Motivation for sales growth, sales planning, building relationships, market knowledge, developing budgets and forecasting.
* Computer literate (Word, Excel, ERP), ability to deal with conflict and challenges.
* Strong business acumen, excellent English verbal and written communication skills, CRM experience.
* Ability to work with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams, strong listening skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience of working within a multi-national company is desirable.
* Ability to inspire confidence with customers, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure.
