About Us We are two-year-old company, based out of the United States, that builds and runs stores in remote parts of Texas where oilfield and industrial workers spend their days. These workers need food, fuel, and basic supplies, but in many of these areas there are no good options nearby. Our stores fill that gap by giving thousands of workers a place they can count on.
The business has doubled revenue every year since launch, and we expect to double again next year. The company is led by the founder, who holds a JD and MBA from top programs and has held leadership positions at leading energy companies.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Associate to work directly with the CEO & Founder. This is a remote role. You'll support research, investor communications, project tracking, financial analysis, and other critical work as we expand. The right person will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently. Over time, this role can grow into a larger position with more responsibility
What You'll Do
Research - Help study new business opportunities and prepare simple reports
Investor Communications - Support updates and materials for investors
Project Tracking - Process and organize invoices, keep budgets up to date, and track costs
Data Work - Review and analyze basic business data to spot trends
Financial Analysis - Assist with numbers for acquisitions and new projects
Business Development - Help with outreach to potential customers and partners
New Ideas - Assist with market testing of new business lines and services
What We're Looking For

Ability to work respectfully with both internal teammates and outside partners
Can work independently and stay organized without constant oversight
Strong skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint
Comfort using ChatGPT and other AI tools to make work faster and more effective
Good written and spoken English
Open to learning and taking on different types of tasks
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
At least 5 years of professional experience in finance, business analysis, or project management
Strong technical and communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
