Valuation and Pricing Specialist
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Valuation and Pricing Specialist. As an expert in commodities asset class onboarding, you will be responsible for resolving daily issues related to functional, valuation, and pricing.
Responsibilities:
1. Resolve daily FO issues on functional, valuation, and pricing;
2. Address daily issues stemming from FO Equity Derivatives desk;
3. Work closely with EQD Desk Traders (L3) and address their issues;
4. Ammend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations;
5. Resolve P&L, Market Data, and booking issues;
6. Analyze, formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables;
7. Liaise with technical team(s) when needed to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements;
8. Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables;
9. Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation;
10. Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally;
11. Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT);
12. Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along;
Requirements:
* Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM;
* Very strong understanding of FX, IRD business;
* Very Strong understanding on P&L concept overall and its components;
* Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle;
* Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues;
* 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities;
* 4+ years experience in financial markets role;
* SQL proficiency;
* Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills;
* Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter;
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills;
* Must have strong organization skills;
