As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying and securing top technical talent for W2 contract positions. Your primary focus will be on managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing to placement, specifically focusing on W2 hires.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of technical roles, and a proven track record in recruiting within a W2 environment. You will leverage various sourcing channels to build a talent pipeline of qualified candidates, conduct initial interviews to assess technical skills and cultural fit, and work closely with hiring managers and account managers to understand role requirements and business needs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing to placement, specifically focusing on W2 contract positions.
* Sourcing and Networking: Leverage various sourcing channels to build a talent pipeline of qualified candidates.
* Candidate Screening: Conduct initial interviews to assess technical skills and cultural fit.
* Stakeholder Management: Work closely with hiring managers and account managers to understand role requirements and business needs.
* Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all hiring activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, particularly regarding W2 requirements.
The ideal candidate has:
* A minimum of 0.5–2 years of technical recruiting experience, with a strong focus on W2 placements.
* An understanding of IT and technical roles, as well as the ability to assess technical qualifications effectively.
* Familiarity with W2 contract requirements, including payroll, tax, and legal considerations.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present opportunities persuasively and build rapport with candidates and clients.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
