It also has a rapidly developing presence in highly specialised and molecular clinical diagnostic testing and in-vitro diagnostic products.The group's key figures are approximately: Turnover of 6.5 billion euros, more than 940 laboratories in 62 countries and around 62,000 employees.Summary of Position and ObjectivesThe Release Manager role will be responsible for deploying builds across the environment, on-boarding new environment, handling transversal projects and creating release management related documents and sharing release plan with the stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesManage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and qualityFacilitate release activities across all releases, mainly with ensuring quality, timely deployments across environmentsMaintain the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendorsCoordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updatesCommunicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including QA plans, schedule, and scope changesConduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews with stakeholdersProduce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation PlansParticipate in CAB meetings to present Production changes (RFCs)Lead and coordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklistsWeekly Release Reporting with Program release managerOwn and continually improve the release process by documenting release issues and developing plans to improve processes, able to recommend continuous improvements viz: automationComfortable in interacting with people across hierarchical levels for smooth project execution. Enjoys managing complex projects involving challengesQualifications and Experience RequiredEnglish Language is mandatory to collaborate in a global environment, including writing, speaking and presentingUnderstanding of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CD/CI) pipelinesGood understanding of cloud deployment, preferably Azure and Agile practiceKnowledge on Deployment tool like OctopusKnowledge on MS Project, Excel-MacrosDocument Management for adhere to Audit Compliance process is an added advantage4 to 5 years of relevant release and deployment management experienceDemonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams towards task completionDemonstrated effective leadership and analytical skillsStrong in troubleshooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyDesired Technical Stack:Platforms : Windows, LinuxDatabase : MSSQLTicketing Tools: Service nowCloud Environment : MS AzureCI and Build Deployment Tools : Octopus DeployVersion Control Tool : Azure DevopsMonitoring tools : GrafanaAdditional InformationWorking hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00 Hybrid Work
