Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer
Job Summary
This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative automation and document management solutions that enhance business efficiency and streamline enterprise workflows.
* Design, develop, and support custom SAP Document Management and automation solutions that cater to the needs of our clients.
* Utilize your skills in ABAP (OO) programming to create robust and efficient solutions, applying strong debugging and problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges.
* Integrate various technologies including SAP UI5, BTP, and REST APIs to create seamless and intuitive user experiences.
* Develop automation solutions around business processes within Accounts Payable (FI-MM) and other SAP modules, leveraging the capabilities of SAP Workflow and AI-driven solutions.
* Enhance and maintain our suite of products, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers.
* Engage with customers through activities such as demos, scoping calls, and post-deployment training, providing exceptional support and guidance throughout their journey.
* Support existing customers using SAP ArchiveLink and related tools such as UiPath, Tungsten Automation (Kofax), ABBYY, and other intelligent automation/OCR platforms.
* Collaborate with customers to gather technical specifications and deliver end-to-end deployments, ensuring successful project outcomes.
* Develop and maintain ABAP add-ons with namespace version tracking, working with BADIs, enhancement frameworks, ABAP proxies, and web services.
* Occasionally contribute to marketing material development, helping to shape the narrative and messaging around our solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
* A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with a proven track record of success in FI/MM modules.
* A solid understanding of SAP ArchiveLink, Document Management Systems, and Accounts Payable processes.
* Experience integrating SAP with automation and OCR platforms (UiPath, Kofax, ABBYY, etc.).
* Proficiency in SAP UI5, Fiori, OData services, and REST APIs is preferred but not essential.
* Experience with SAP Workflow, BTP, and S/4HANA environments is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders.
* Self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment are essential.
