Junior Accounts Payable Analyst | Brazil
We are looking for a Junior Accounts Payable Analyst to oversee and ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of the company’s payment processes.
This role plays a key part in maintaining financial control, supporting cash flow management, and ensuring smooth coordination with banks, suppliers, and shared service teams.
Role Purpose
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for supervising payment processes and financial commitments, ensuring that transactions are executed in accordance with established procedures, internal controls, and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities
Payment & Banking Operations
Monitor bank charges and related financial transactions.
Analyze and process payment batches, ensuring timely transmission to banks.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Support cash flow forecasting activities.
Financial Control & Compliance
Monitor financial commitments to ensure payments are executed on time.
Liaise with suppliers and banks to resolve payment-related matters.
Ensure adherence to internal procedures and financial controls.
Shared Services Support
Act as liaison with the Shared Service Center (Bank Account, Booking & Payments teams).
Support cross-functional alignment between local Finance and shared services operations.
Profile Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Accounting, or related fields.
Proven experience in finance or accounts payable functions. Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle experience is a plus).
English proficiency.
Strong attention to detail and execution excellence.
