Patent Paralegal Project Manager Role
This is a full-time, remote position.
We are seeking an experienced Patent Paralegal Project Manager to oversee and manage patent filing requests. You will work closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure that all requests are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
Your role will involve coordinating various aspects of patent filings, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting. Strong organizational, leadership and management abilities, significant experience managing complex projects, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing all documents required in connection with EP, PCT and foreign applications.
* Coordinating filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
* Monitoring all assigned cases and proactively ensuring that all related deadlines are met in a timely manner.
Essential Skills and Required Experience:
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Significant experience managing complex projects.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and various Machine Translation engines.
* Able to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
