About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled developer who is comfortable with mobile (Android and iOS) and the back‑end programming needed to deliver a complete application. You will be working on developing and designing applications used by owners of our vehicles. As a full‑stack application developer, reporting directly to the Digital Lead Architect, you will be part of the connectivity innovation team constantly improving BRP’s consumer applications and be directly involved in BRP’s digital product initiatives.BRP is a Canadian multinational company that is growing at an unprecedented rate and that is actively throwing its full weight into its digital transformation. Our spaces are fully designed to stimulate innovation, co‑creation, collaboration with the various teams (CRM, Digital and product engineering), and to have fun at work!You’ll Have The Opportunity ToParticipate in the development and maintenance of the mobile application and its back‑end; including any interface with other systems (e.g. iOS & Android applications, Vehicle Hardware API)Collaborate with product owners and UX team to constantly improve the experienceWrite automated tests to ensure code and application qualityParticipate in all areas of the product life cycle, including discovery, planning, development, delivery and production supportYour Qualifications And SkillsExcellent knowledge of either Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development and native‑hybrid frameworks (Kotlin‑multiplatform)Experience with Bluetooth and WiFi protocolsFamiliarity with database technology such as PostgreSQL and SQLiteExcellent knowledge of API protocols (REST & GraphQL)Familiarity with Azure cloud servicesExcellent communication skills (in either French or English)Experience in a corporate setting is a plusExperience working with a development provider is a plusProven track record of prioritization of own workGood problem‑solving skillsAttention to detail
