We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Purpose of the Role (Proposito do Trabalho)The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field‑based medical affairs professional with deep knowledge about specific diseases and treatments, products available and compounds in investigation (both at Lilly and competitors), as well as detailed knowledge about research, regulatory affairs and medical education, and related processes. The primary activity of the MSL is to engage specialists (scientific experts) and others in the medical community to understand external research, clinical needs, respond to spontaneous questions, and foster a two‑way scientific dialogue. Scientific Experts are individuals recognized for their expertise in a specific area and therefore have special needs for in‑depth, up‑to‑date information because they develop and implement research and educate colleagues and students. By providing answers and facilitating communication between industry and the scientific experts community, the MSL has the opportunity to improve patient outcomes through the necessary information that addresses important clinical and scientific questions.Principal Responsibilities (Principais Responsabilidades)Engage with Scientific Experts to answer their questions.Gather, analyze and share clinical insights and scientific intelligence.Develop and execute initiatives for continuing medical education.Facilitate research opportunities and medical education activities.Profile of the Work (Perfil do Trabalho)Currently pursuing a health‑related bachelor’s degree (Medicine, Biology, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, or Nutrition).Post‑graduation (master’s or doctoral) is desirable.Experience in cardiometabolismo is desirable.Prior experience as an MSL, medical educator, or in other pharmaceutical industry roles is an advantage.Proficiency in English (spoken and written).Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build professional relationships and network.Intellectual curiosity about the science/medicine that is responsible for (Metabolism).High motivation and the capacity to comprehend large amounts of scientific content and communicate it clearly and concisely.Presentation skills – expertise in critical analysis of scientific articles.Ability to meet client needs for complex information.Managing priorities and projects involving multiple areas.Ability to work effectively and share information with a team.Familiarity with the academic community, clinical research, and medical education.Other Information (Outras Informações)Requirement for national/domestic travel availability.Possession of a valid category B driver’s license.Mobility to relocate to Salvador.Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
