Job Description
We are looking for professionals with extensive experience in Linux and Unix, public Cloud, to support Professional Services. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Cloud operations, able to provide L3 support, work in a big team dedicated to help clients.
The system administrator will participate in major incident handling, troubleshoot service request failures, downtime extensions, long running ongoing incidents for the customer. He will take proactive steps to avoid escalations, identifying and driving initiatives to improve operation and stability for our customer system.
A customer-first mindset is required. The ideal candidate should be able to solve critical and high-impact issues independently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:
* Expertise in providing technical support for all Linux OS/Windows and infra customer issues.
* Strong administration experience of cloud platforms based on Linux operating systems in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud as well as in SAP data centres.
* Practical experience with OS operation, upgrades, and security patching.
* Networking experience with the suite of TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, firewalls.
Qualifications:
* 8+ years of related professional experience.
* Bachelor's degree or higher (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technologies Management).
* Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
* Very good communication skills.
