Software Development Role
We are seeking a talented software developer to join our team and contribute to the development of Murex MX.3, a cutting-edge trading platform.
* Design, develop, and maintain components and configurations within Murex MX.3 across various modules such as Trading, Risk, Collateral, and Back Office.
* Build and enhance workflows, simulation views, formulas, and MxML Exchange interfaces to drive business growth and efficiency.
* Integrate with internal and external systems (REST, SOAP, MQ, APIs, ETL, etc.) to expand our network and services.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents promptly to ensure system stability and performance.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and project groups to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.
* Participate in release cycles, functional testing, regression testing, and UAT phases to guarantee seamless delivery and minimal disruption.
* Maintain compliance with technical standards, documentation, and governance processes to uphold the highest level of quality and security.
Required Qualifications
* Demonstrate hands-on experience with Murex MX.3 (configuration, development, or integration).
* Show solid knowledge of core Murex components including Datamart, MxML Exchange, Workflows, Simulation Views, and others.
* Evidence strong programming skills: Java, SQL, Shell Script, and ideally Python.
* Experience working with system integrations, middleware, or messaging platforms is essential.
* Display a good understanding of financial instruments, particularly derivatives (FX, IRD, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities).
* Possess strong English communication skills.
* Be willing and eligible to relocate after the initial remote period.
Nice-to-Haves
* Previous experience working with major banks or large international financial institutions.
* Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Murex certifications or experience with MX.2 → MX.3 migrations would be advantageous.
