Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing security measures to protect our infrastructure, working closely with IT professionals to ensure the security of employees, network, applications, and data.
This is a full-time job with a flexible schedule, allowing for remote work options. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and in teams, communicate clearly asynchronously, possess strong researching skills, and have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents from implemented security solutions (IDS/IPS, Microsoft Defender, Bitdefender GravityZone, Wazuh, Nagios, etc.).
* Administer and maintain security solutions.
* Stay up-to-date on industry-accepted security bulletins (CISA, CVE, NIST, etc.).
* Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on infrastructure, software, and people.
* Improve systems, software, and practices to adhere to industry-accepted standards (CIS, SOC, ISO, etc.).
* Coordinate with systems and software teams to implement security updates and patches.
* Deliver security awareness training to employees.
* Coordinate audits (ISO, SOC, PCI DSS, etc.).
Mandatory Requirements:
* Experience with Linux operating systems (min 3 years), preferably RHEL-based distributions.
* Experience with Microsoft Defender as a whole, including email and EDR protection.
* Experience with SIEM solutions, bonus points for Wazuh.
* Experience in vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on infrastructure, software, and people.
* Data Loss Prevention policies through Microsoft Purview or other tools.
* Fluent English (written and spoken).
* Flexible schedule, including occasional after-hours work.
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar.
* Strong research capabilities and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice-to-Have:
* Past work experience in a Security Operations Center.
* ManageEngine Endpoint Central experience.
* Patch management expertise.
* Kali Linux and GreenBone experience.
* Firewall management and IDS/IPS experience.
* Identity and access management system operation (Microsoft 365, OpenLDAP).
* Applied cryptography understanding and cloud technology experience (AWS, Azure).
