Job Description
The FSG Senior Finance Associate supports the Finance department’s day-to-day functions, including recording, reporting, and analysis of financial data. The focus is on creating value-added analysis to support management in decision-making.
What You Will Do:
* Compile and analyze account information.
* Prepare regular and ad hoc management reports and spreadsheets, collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account data.
* Accurately enter key data into accounting and financial systems.
* Maintain records and document financial processes.
* Follow all FSG policies and procedures to maintain internal controls, seeking clarification when guidance is unclear.
* Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.
* Analyze trends, revenue, costs, financial commitments, and obligations to forecast future outcomes. Support management in evaluating company performance.
* Drive process improvements and efficiency while minimizing risk and costs.
* Report financials to management and suggest resource utilization, tax strategies, and budget assumptions.
* Prepare complex financial reports, including ad hoc reports, using data query tools.
* Collaborate within ABS to identify and resolve business issues.
What You Will Need:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience in business or finance.
* At least three (3) years of relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Understanding of data privacy and security principles.
* Solid knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, cash flow, and accounting principles.
* Ability to analyze, interpret, and report financial data.
* Efficient data entry skills and experience with account reconciliations.
* Proficiency with financial systems and modeling.
* Ability to analyze large datasets for patterns and trends.
* Effective communication of data insights.
* Understanding of the impact of the role on broader business functions.
* Willingness to learn ABS rules, regulations, and safety policies.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports directly to the Director of Finance.
