Junior Business Analyst Job Description
As a Junior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the analysis, testing, and delivery of enhancements on our ServiceNow platform.
This hybrid position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses excellent communication skills to gather and document business requirements as well as develop and execute test plans to ensure high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and process improvements.
* Assist in defining acceptance criteria and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
* Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
* Support training and communication efforts related to new or updated ServiceNow functionality.
* Maintain clear and concise documentation for both business requirements and testing activities.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 2-3 years of combined business analysis and quality assurance experience with ServiceNow (ITSM / ITOM modules preferred).
* Experience using Automated Test Framework (ATF) and/or other tools for test automation.
* Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and business analysis best practices.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to establish strong relationships internally and externally.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator a plus.
