Key Account Manager Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B professional with a background in the travel industry, to take on the role of Key Account Manager. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met, and driving business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead Existing Clients: In charge of existing clients within the assigned territory.
* Develop Strategic Account Plans: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth, and identify new business opportunities.
* Acquire New Accounts: Acquire new key accounts within the assigned territory.
* Conduct Business Reviews: Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their objectives.
* Identify Upselling Opportunities: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue generation.
* Prepare Reports: Prepare and present reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights.
* Collaborate with Product Development Teams: Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback and insights from clients, contributing to the development of new products/services.
* Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities.
Qualifications - Position Requirements:
* Strong Influencing Skills: Strong influencing and negotiation skills, thriving in the creation and maintenance of successful long-term commercial relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
* Autonomous Working Environment: Experienced with proven ability to deliver results in an autonomous working environment.
* Travel & Hospitality Knowledge: Solid experience and commercial knowledge of the travel & hospitality industries.
* Business Acumen: Commercially good knowledge of business for B2B, as well as new business segments and models.
* Project Management Skills: Project management skills.
* Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English and Portuguese as working languages is required. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
