Job Title: Strategic Project Lead
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Project Lead to join our team. As a key leader, you will be responsible for planning and executing projects from concept to production, ensuring they meet product objectives within specified time schedules.
You will lead cross-functional teams of internal and external resources to meet program, product, and portfolio objectives. Establishing and managing platform program plans is crucial in supporting the Long Range Product Plan (LRPP) developed with the product planning team.
As a champion of our product development process and project management best practices, you will execute programs efficiently. You will plan, conduct, and manage overall projects for given platforms, reviewing progress and evaluating results relative to quality, timing, and costs.
You will establish targets for platform project costs, part costs, and tool costs, tracking and reporting on them throughout the project. Coordinating and overseeing platform development testing, design, and validation efforts ensures that project objectives are met per schedule and budget.
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of Lean principles, such as value stream mapping, kaizen, 5S, and standard work. Experience and knowledge across multiple functions, as well as demonstrated success in previous leadership positions, are essential.

* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in similar businesses; extensive budget management experience.
