Purpose
This highly technical, collaborative role is responsible for leading project implementations and providing technical support. The manager will lead a team that delivers support, enhancements, and projects for Johnson & Johnson TS initiatives with a product‑technology focus on Microsoft Power Platform, governance, visualization, and artificial intelligence. Responsibilities include managing projects, incidents, break/fix work, service requests, and problem management. This role drives continuous improvement in application delivery and maintains ongoing relationships with Technical and Business Product Owners and Chapter Leads across North and Latin America.
Responsibilities
Deliver support, enhancements and projects across North and Latin America, ensuring on time, on budget delivery and compliance.
Analyze business needs, develop and propose solutions, and estimate or quote projects.
Provide regular, detailed reports to stakeholders and all management levels on delivery status.
Responsible for overall engineering, roadmap and technical decisions in coordination with the Product Owner, Product Group Engineer and Architect Lead.
Partner with IT Technology Services peers in other regions, applying best practices and standardization to LATAM platforms, and facilitate effective meetings across a global space.
Ensure timely adoption of new technologies and innovations, selecting and resourcing ideas to explore through ideation sessions when necessary.
Work closely with the Technical Product Manager to define product strategy and vision.
Work with squads to problem‑solve technical challenges, implementing solutions while supporting system, design, and code reviews.
Negotiate technology options with business partners and collaborate with platform/product teams to identify leverage opportunities.
Manage development and review cadence, aligning tech landscape across squads to promote reusability, scalability and modularity.
Monitor product/platform developments and drive leading engineering practices for higher technical quality.
Help Product Owners and Lead Engineers prioritize technical backlogs across squads, coaching and mentoring squad members.
Manage risks, solve, elevate, and track cross‑product dependencies and impediments.
Qualifications – Required
B.A. / B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in lifecycle management project implementation as a manager.
Experience working on global teams.
Significant experience in project management and related operations, driving projects to successful completion.
Ability to collect and communicate complex information to customers.
Proactive, self‑motivated approach with excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Extensive experience in Agile Framework Development, including team creation, leadership, product/platform standards, governance processes, and change management.
Previous people management experience (direct or indirect leadership).
