💼 About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with deep expertise in DAX, data modeling, and Azure-based data platforms. This role requires hands-on experience building scalable BI solutions, working with large datasets, and enabling business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize data models, dashboards, and analytics solutions in a modern cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets
* Build and optimize complex DAX measures and calculations
* Develop robust data models (star schema, snowflake schema)
* Work with Azure data services to ingest, transform, and model data
* Build and maintain data pipelines and data integration workflows
* Ensure performance tuning and optimization of BI solutions
* Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions
* Drive business adoption through impactful visualizations
* Collaborate in an Agile environment
Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)
Power BI & DAX
* 5+ years of experience with Power BI
* Strong expertise in DAX (advanced calculations, optimization)
* Experience with Power BI datasets & semantic models
* Strong data modeling experience
Azure (Critical)
* Hands-on experience with:
* Azure Data Factory
* Azure SQL
* Azure Data Lake
* Azure Synapse (preferred)
* Experience building data pipelines in Azure
Data & Backend
* Strong SQL expertise
* Experience with data transformation and cleansing
* Understanding of data warehouse architecture
Additional Technical Skills
* Experience with Snowflake (strong plus)
* Knowledge of Python for data processing (preferred)
* Familiarity with CI/CD, version control
Experience Level
* 8–15+ years in BI / Data Engineering / Analytics
Nice-to-Have
* Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) domain
* Exposure to Supply Chain or Finance data
* Experience with SSAS / OLAP cubes
* Understanding of microservices / APIs
