Business Data Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with product managers and product owners to gather business requirements and document them. You will be part of an Agile Product Delivery team and have the opportunity to leverage reporting tools for analysis like Office and Power BI.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of IT and business experience, with a focus on Supply Chain. They will have a strong background in launching software solutions or services in partnership with business and engineering teams. Additionally, they will have high proficiency in wireframes, prototyping, iterative development, and understanding of agile principles.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Work directly with product managers and product owners for business requirements gathering and documentation
* Be part of an Agile Product Delivery team
* Leverage reporting tools for analysis like Office and Power BI
* Develop roadmaps to drive the company forward
* Act as a liaison across all areas such as business units, information technology, and outside customers by investigating relevant information and creating recommendations
* Continuously refine product backlog items together with the Scrum Team and other subject matter experts to ensure the team understands those items to the level needed for them to estimate and plan to work during sprint planning
* Established background in launching software/solutions or services in partnership with business and engineering teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Combination of IT and business experiences
* Strong background in launching software solutions or services
* High proficiency in wireframes, prototyping, iterative development, and understanding of agile principles
* Familiarity with MS Power BI for Business reporting and Self-service
* Prior experience working for a global, highly matrixed, Consumer Packaged Goods company
* Knowledge of the CPG market, industry trends, and customer needs
