Key Account Manager | Brazil
We are looking for a Key Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, focusing on business retention, expansion, and long-term partnerships. This role is essential to strengthening customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting sustainable revenue growth.
Role Purpose
The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, expanding business with existing clients, and identifying new opportunities aligned with the company’s commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Business Development
Develop and execute strategic development plans for assigned key accounts, ensuring business retention and growth.
Manage post-sales activities, monitoring service performance and customer satisfaction.
Identify new market players and business opportunities in line with company growth strategy.
Commercial Strategy & Market Analysis
Conduct market and regional analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
Adapt sales and commercial strategies according to regional market characteristics and customer needs.
Prepare demand forecasts based on customer insights and market behavior.
Sales Execution & Negotiation
Coordinate the full sales cycle, from customer presentation and negotiation to contract closure and service delivery.
Prepare customized commercial proposals, highlighting the value of products and services.
Lead commercial negotiations with strategic clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Customer & Internal Stakeholder Management
Participate in meetings with key customers, providing commercial and technical support.
Support finance and collections teams to ensure healthy payment flows within the account portfolio.
Monitor sales performance indicators, prepare reports, and propose improvement actions.
Profile Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
Proven experience in commercial roles, key account management, or sales, preferably in logistics, shipping, or transportation environments.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Knowledge of CRM tools and standard office applications.
English and Spanish are desirable.
