We are looking for a full-time, remote Senior DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our U.S. client's DevOps team working Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours. In this role, you will fully automate provisioning, deployment, management, and monitoring for a rapidly evolving and highly scalable set of SaaS services. You will work with members of the DevOps team alongside a DevOps architect to ensure best practices are implemented across applications, to lead teams in the direction of initiatives such as CI/CD and enterprise monitoring, and to work on support services operational on the cloud. Responsibilities Drive the implementation of fully automated CI/CD patterns using Kubernetes, Spinnaker, and other AWS & GCP cloud technologies Contribute to the implementation of monitoring and management solutions for cloud-based products using a combination of commercial off-the-shelf and homegrown solutions Collaborate with application architects on standardized and scalable methods to manage logs, service elements, and more Design and develop DevOps tools to reduce manual work, improve security, and reduce human error Build resilient and self-scaling systems that minimize customer impacts, while providing a healthy work environment for operators Required Experience 5+ years of experience in managing web services Experience managing AWS and GCP platforms Proficient in intermediate Python programming Experience with AWS Kubernetes, VM, Load Balancer, Database, VPC, or comparable services in other cloud environments Experience with Kubernetes / EKS and infrastructure as code, such as Terraform Experience leading CI/CD pipelines development in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools, including PagerDuty, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure monitoring, and more Experience with Linux distributions, including CentOS, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux Solid networking experience, including TCP/IP, routing, and DNS Preferred Experience University degree or equivalent educational experience (preferably in a STEM field) Experience with Golang Additional Information Knowing your ideas are heard and matter, think big!
