Job Title: IT ServiceNow Architect Specialist
Job Description
The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping and evolving the IT Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system on ServiceNow. They will take ownership of architectural decisions, collaborate with external partners, and contribute to configuration, development, and administration tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
* Making informed architectural decisions for ServiceNow configuration and development
* Supervising external partners responsible for ServiceNow development and application management
* Performing configuration, development, and administration tasks within ServiceNow
* Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic roadmaps and project scopes
* Investigating and advising on module usage, integrations, and platform capabilities across modules such as SPM, ITSM, ITOM, HR, VR, and custom applications
* Evaluating and implementing best practices to avoid unnecessary customization or technical debt
* Representing the organization as a subject matter expert in cross-functional meetings and initiatives
Key Qualifications:
* Prioritizing out-of-the-box functionality and avoiding custom development unless justified by business case, legal, EHS, or security requirements
* FOLLOWING ServiceNow best practices to ensure scalability, maintainability, and minimal technical debt
* Demonstrating proactive problem-solving and consultative guidance across modules
* Maintaining clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
* Ensuring all architectural decisions are aligned with the enterprise roadmap and scoped demands
