Lead Product Designer Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Product Designer to join our team. As a Lead Product Designer, you will play a key role in defining and leading the design experiences across multiple products.
About the Role:
* You will be responsible for taking ideas from concept to completion, conducting and managing full research processes, and leading usability testing sessions.
* You will work closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scope appropriately, and account for edge cases and error states.
* Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate is crucial in this fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in Product/UX Design.
* Fluent in English.
* Strong proficiency with Figma, with the ability to translate requirements and ideas into simple design solutions.
* Experience designing for similar users preferred (Nurses, Senior Care Professionals).
Work Expectations:
The team is distributed, but generally located in North and South America. Work hours are flexible, but there are regular meetings you'll be expected to attend. The expectation is to be available to collaborate during general daytime hours.
The team relies heavily on Figma, Slack, Linear, and Notion for collaboration. Though the role is full-time, you will be paid as a contractor. To enable this, we will work with individuals who already have a company set up or help you set up your company to be compensated.
Interview Process:

* Asynchronous portfolio review: Create a 15-minute video walking through a relevant project that demonstrates your skills and experience related to the role.
* Project: Spend 2 hours on a small project, presenting your work during a 1-hour interview with leadership.
* 1-2 additional follow-up 1:1s with the founder and/or Head of Engineering may be requested to address unresolved questions.
