About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team and help drive data-informed decisions across our in-house mobile application products. This individual will play a critical role in analyzing user behavior, evaluating feature performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality data insights. This role requires a blend of creative vision, technical know-how, and exceptional organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights
* Extract, clean, and analyze data using SQL and Python to understand product performance, user behavior, and business trends
* Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor product health and performance
* Provide actionable recommendations to product managers and leadership teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, QA’s, User Acquisition, and Design teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
* Partner with stakeholders to identify key metrics and measure the success of product initiatives
Experimentation & Optimization
* Support A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions
* Analyze experiment results and recommend next steps for product improvements
Mobile App Analytics
* Leverage mobile analytics platforms to track and evaluate app usage and retention metrics
* Provide insights to optimize user journeys and improve mobile app engagement
Agile/Scrum Processes
* Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to align analytics work with product development priorities
* Deliver insights in iterative cycles that align with Agile methodologies
Who You Are
* Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.G., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or similar)
* 3+ years of firsthand experience in management/analysis of data within a Structured Query Language (SQL) database (Preferred:
Google BigQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift) with proven SQL and query writing skills
* Experience in Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) Data
* Experience collecting and analyzing data and reporting on the results using Excel or a statistical software package
* Demonstrated ability to extract and assimilate data from multiple sources and communicate analysis in a concise, easy-to-understand, and actionable format
* Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
* Proven experience analyzing and interpreting data in a mobile app environment
* Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and working in iterative development cycles
* Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
* Experience with R for statistical modeling or advanced analytics is a plus
