A well-establishedDutch engineering consultancyis looking for anElectrical Design Engineer (Building Services)to join its team in the Netherlands. You will work onhigh-quality building projectssuch asresidential buildings, offices, hospitals, shopping malls, museums, and other commercial buildings.This role is heavily focused on buildings.
Profiles mainly focused onindustry, power plants, infrastructure, bridges, or process engineeringarenot suitable.Your Responsibilities:In this role, you will be responsible for thetechnical design and detailed engineeringof electrical installations within building projects.
Key tasks include:
Designingelectrical installations for residential and commercial buildings
Performingcable calculations, lighting calculations, and power calculations
Producing2 D and 3 D drawings(floor plans, schematics, technical details)
Working daily withBIM and electrical design software
Preparingtechnical documentation and cost-related calculations
Supporting site measurements and technical coordination (with guidance)
Contributing to smoothproject delivery and aftercareStrong hands-on experience is essential:
Auto CAD(mandatory)
Revit / Revit MEP(mandatory)
Dialux(mandatory – lighting calculations)
Stabi Cad(strong advantage – training possible)
Intelec or similar calculation software(advantage)
MS Office (Excel / Word)Requirements:
Degree inElectrical Engineering(Bachelor or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years of experienceas an Electrical Design Engineer forbuildings
Proven experience inresidential and/or commercial building projects
Strong understanding ofelectrical calculations and building systems
Professional working proficiency in English(mandatory)
Motivation to learnDutch standards and regulations(NEN, ISSO, BBL)
Valid EU work authorisation (visa support possible for non-EU candidates).We Offer:
1-2 year contract (40 hours/week) with the possibility of permanent employment.
Monthly gross salary: 4.000,00 - 5.000,00 (based on experience and education).
25 paid vacation days+ paid public holidays.
Holiday allowance of 8.33%, paid annually in May.
Travel reimbursement: €0.23/km.
Relocation support:
First housing arranged and upfront payment of rent/deposit if needed
€1,500 - €3,000 net relocation bonus
Pick-up on arrival and onboarding support (bank, BSN, insurance, etc.)
