Project Lead & UX Researcher
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a fast-paced automotive UX study in São Paulo. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating day-to-day study operations, moderating in-vehicle research sessions with local drivers, and providing light device / IT support.
You will work closely with the Ops Manager and UX Research Lead to build and own the project plan, manage timelines, budget, and participant milestones.
1. Project Management & Coordination:
2. Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth study execution.
4. Field & Research Execution:
5. Moderate in-vehicle sessions in São Paulo, guiding participants through tasks and capturing high-quality data.
6. Translate consent forms, short surveys, and session notes between Portuguese and English.
* Technical & Logistics Support:
* Prepare, track, and recover equipment used to execute study.
* Troubleshoot participant hardware, connectivity, and account issues; escalate edge-case bugs to engineering via JIRA.
Requirements
* Residence / Work Authorization: Based in the greater São Paulo area; legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in Brazil.
* Language: Native-level Portuguese and professional-level English (spoken & written).
* Experience:
* 3+ years in project coordination, research operations, UX research, or similar.
* Comfort diagnosing common hardware / connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, Android / iOS devices, Bluetooth peripherals).
* Tools: Google Workspace, project-management suite (Asana / JIRA), basic spreadsheets; willingness to learn our proprietary research platform.
* Soft Skills: Exceptional organization, proactive communication, unflappable in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior automotive or in-vehicle research experience.
* Prior Team management or project coordination experience.
Working Arrangements
* Term: 3 months (July – September 2025), ~40 hrs/week.
* Hybrid: Remote most days; up to 2 weeks of on-site fieldwork.
