You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related fields, or equivalent experience.
* Strong proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL), query optimization, and performance tuning in SQL Server.
* Experience with data storage solutions in Azure (Blob Storage, Data Lake, Azure SQL).
* Knowledge of serverless architecture for data processing (e.g., Azure Functions, Event Grid).
* Solid experience with Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps for data integration and automation.
* Familiarity with Databricks for scalable data engineering.
* Familiarity with data streaming architectures in Azure (Event Hubs, Stream Analytics).
* Experience in data warehousing solutions and dimensional modeling using Azure Synapse or similar.
* Understanding of CI/CD principles and version control for data pipelines.
* English Full Professional Proficiency.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
* Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures and datasets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
* Coordinate the development with stakeholders, project managers, data architects, data analysts and others.
* Perform data explorations to know the data to be processed.
* Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
* Deliver aggregated data to business executives, analysts and end users so they can analyze it and apply the results to improving business operations.
* Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Azure services.
