Or, as we like to put it: BENTELER makes it happenOBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:Maximize the profitability of the organization through leadership of Projects of Cost Reductions with a multifunctional team in Procurement and all other areas, ensuring the optimization of 360º dimensions (product design, material cost and value added), complying with the quality requirements established by internal and external customers.RESPONSIBILITIES AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:Supports with Procurement Strategy creation for building the plan execution for the upcoming year for targets achievementResponsible for Workshop preparation and execution based on the Procurement Strategy definition, conducting these with multifunctional team and suppliersResponsible for preparing the Projects Structure, with a timeline and milestones, involved stakeholders, prioritization matrix, and get the approved by Committees.Responsible for Projects of Cost Optimization implementation for the opportunities from WORKSHOPs and from any other origin, conducting those by a clear plan, Change Request issue, with a monitoring and escalation rule, inside Procurement and with other areas.Responsible for pushing and attend meetings with Americas Clusters (South and North) with SuppliersExecutes supplier visits/audits with Supplier Quality Engineers always its possible.Conducts cost analysis activities with Cost Analysis Team.Supports the Commodity Managers for tenders, regular audits and supplier evaluations.Manages Change Request Process with the various teams and follow up until implementation.Troubleshoots (supports technical and time-critical ad-hoc requests/requirements)Develops and updates templates, tools and standards in conjunction with the Competence CenterEnsures regular communication with internal, external interfacesProvides support to all activities assigned by the direct supervisor.Responsible for internal COMPASS audits for Americas Clusters, as well as action plan monitoring and implementation.REQUIREMENTS:Fluent in English (Must); Plus if fluent in SpanishKnowledge on excel, power point, SAP, etcStrong skills on project management tools / routinesYour contactLivia PontaltiBENTELER Human Resources
