Job Description
As a Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive tax and consulting experience, helping our clients meet their individual income tax compliance obligations. You will address complex tax issues from strategy to execution, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Building trusted relationships and fostering team success are essential parts of this role.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with individual income tax compliance, including preparation of tax computations and returns, and handling correspondence with tax authorities.
Resolve issues that prevent effective team working, even during periods of change and uncertainty.
Coach others and encourage ownership of their development.
Analyze complex ideas or proposals and provide meaningful recommendations.
Address sub‑standard work or work that does not meet the company’s or client’s expectations.
Develop a perspective on key global trends, including globalization, and their impact on the company and clients.
Manage diverse viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
Build trusted relationships.
Uphold the company’s code of ethics and business conduct.
Qualifications
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, openness to learning new tools and adapting work styles.
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing, and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard.
Experience in expatriate tax; knowledge of Taiwan personal income tax is an advantage.
At least 2 years of relevant experience for a senior position.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for an associate role.
Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, clients and staff.
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and a proactive attitude.
Fluent in Portuguese and English.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics or International Relations.
Demonstrated business development skills and enthusiasm about contributing to the growth of the Global Mobility Services practice.
