Oracle Database Administrator Job Summary:
We seek an expert Oracle DBA to join our team and take on a challenging hybrid role in São Paulo.
* Must-have technical skills include Oracle RAC, Data Guard, OEM, Golden Gate, ASM, Cloud/VM, Engineered Appliance (Exadata), Linux, MySQL, SQL Server, Cassandra, and Postgres.
Key Responsibilities:
* Experience in database management, including infrastructure architecture, installation, upgrade, maintenance, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and other database-related activities.
* Performing database activities like configuring database parameters, configuring backups, monitoring and managing users, and assigning privileges.
* Experience with grid and database patching with 12C/19C versions, Oracle/12c/19C data guard, golden gate technologies, and work in production, staging, development environments.
* Sound practical knowledge in Data Guard, RMAN, Data Pump, and good knowledge and experience in Exadata migration and operating system experience in Linux.
* Maintain our SQL/PLSQL query, work closely with the application team, ensure DB availability, support and collaborate with product developers, create a reliable backup strategy, ensure database backups are appropriate, execute periodic restorations, determine and document DB policies, procedures, and standards, perform performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity, identify bottle necks and deadlock issues, and must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
