Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Professional to join our team. As an IT Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and assistance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues related to IT infrastructure, networking, and hardware
* Support network devices, VOIP phones, and servers
* Work closely with internal teams, customer teams, and remote technical specialists to identify and resolve issues efficiently
* Assist in the maintenance of basic server tasks and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
* Basic knowledge of network devices, such as switches, routers, and wireless access points
* Understanding of assigning switch ports to specific VLANs
* Ability to patch phone ports to switches as needed
* Basic troubleshooting skills for Avaya VOIP phones and knowledge of basic configuration
* Ability to visualize errors and communicate effectively with remote technical teams
* Good understanding of data center infrastructure management applications
* Knowledge of monitoring tools, such as Solarwinds
* Networking and operating system basics
* Assistance in resolving technical issues with network and data center admins
* Basic knowledge of hardware, including servers and storage devices
* Experience in SLA-based environments
