Power BI Developer Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team and help drive business success through data-driven insights.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have experience developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI dashboards and reports as per business requirements. They will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
* Develop and publish Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business needs
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop BI solutions
* Perform data modeling, transformation, and scripting for complex calculations
* Ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance optimization of Power BI solutions
* Work with SQL databases, ETL processes, and other data sources to integrate and transform data
* Maintain data security, governance, and compliance within BI solutions
* Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to business users
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
* Proven experience as a Power BI Developer (3+ years preferred)
* Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX
* Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases
* Proficiency in SQL and querying large datasets
* Experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources (Excel, SQL Server, Azure, APIs, etc.)
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
* Knowledge of Azure Data services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) is a plus
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is an advantage
