RESPONSABILITIES
· Lead and oversee Accounting, Finance and Tax functions across the group;
· Ensure accurateand timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS;
· Manage monthly,quarterly, and annual closing processes across multiple entities;
· Oversee consolidation processes and intercompany transactions and group reporting to the CFO and investors;
· Ensure full compliance with international tax regulations (with focus on Venezuela operations);
· Supervise financial reporting for Oil & Gas operations, including cost tracking, asset accounting, and operational performance;
· Prepare quarterly and annual reports for the stock market;
· Design, implement, and strengthen internal controls and scalable financial processes;
· Coordinate external audits, tax audits, and internal audit processes;
· Partner closelywith the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and strategic decision-making;
· Monitor cash flow, liquidity planning, and financial performance indicators;
· Partner with executive leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning;
· Manage financial risks related to foreign operations, including currency exposure and regulatory environment;
· Liaise with external advisors, including auditors, legal, and tax consultants in Brazil and Venezuela;
· Build, lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary finance team;
· Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within controllership;
· Support CFO in business necessity.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting;
· Strong knowledge of IFRS;
· Experience withfinancial consolidation and multi-entity reporting;
· Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools;
· Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills;
· Fluent in English and Spanish.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
· 12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, controllership, or finance leadership roles;
· Proven experience in Oil & Gas sector (upstream/onshore preferred);
· Experience managing financial operations with exposure to Venezuela or similar emerging markets;
· Background in multinational or complex group structures;
· Track record ofbuilding or transforming finance functions in scaling organizations;
