Job Overview
We seek a seasoned IT infrastructure leader to spearhead our core infrastructure operations and drive improvements. This role demands exceptional leadership, planning, and collaboration across global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and guide a small team of infrastructure experts across compute, storage, and network domains.
• Coordinate infrastructure tasks, timelines, and dependencies to ensure alignment with technical objectives.
• Facilitate change windows, maintenance schedules, and upgrades with internal and external stakeholders.
• Track and escalate risks, issues, and blockers with clear context and recommended actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, dashboards, and status reports for leadership and technical teams.
• Support vendor coordination for hardware logistics, remote hands, and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with change management and security protocols.
• Organize and lead team standups, working sessions, and stakeholder updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 3-5 years strong experience in IT infrastructure
• Proven experience leading infrastructure initiatives in hybrid or co-managed environments.
• Solid understanding of servers, virtualization, storage, networking, DNS, and monitoring.
• Proficiency with tools like Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet.
• Strong communication and documentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage priorities across time zones and work independently.
Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with ITIL practices.
• Experience with CMDB and inventory tools.
