Job Specification: Oracle Cloud Field Service Consultant
Contract Role – Remote
Overview
We are seeking an experiencedOracle Cloud Field Service (OFS) Consultantto support the design, configuration, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of our field service operations.
This is a remote contract role suited for someone with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Field Service Cloud, with additional experience inOracle Service Cloud (OSvC)andOracle CPQbeing highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization ofOracle Field Service Cloud (OFS)to support business workflows, scheduling, routing, and mobile field operations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable functional and technical solutions.
Configure OFS modules including capacity, activity management, work order orchestration, routing plans, and mobility experiences.
Integrate OFS with other Oracle cloud applications, especiallyOracle Service Cloud,Oracle CPQ, and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
Perform solution testing, UAT support, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring seamless field operations.
Recommend best practices and continuous improvements in field service processes.
Support deployment activities, including data migration, configuration promotion, and post-go-live stabilization.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including service operations, IT, product management, and vendors.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supportingOracle Field Service Cloud (OFS).
Strong understanding of OFS architecture, configuration frameworks, APIs, message scenarios, routing, and capacity planning.
Experience designing workflows, activity types, and policy configurations in OFS.
Ability to write and interpret OFS API integrations, business rules, and extensibility scripts.
Proven ability to gather requirements and convert them into actionable configuration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Desired Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience withOracle Service Cloud (RightNow/OSvC)configuration, workflows, and integrations.
Experience withOracle CPQ(quoting workflows, commerce rules, integrations).
Understanding of broader Oracle CX Cloud architecture and integrations.
Experience with mobile workforce or field service applications outside Oracle.
Knowledge of cloud integration tools (OIC, Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.).
