Role Overview
This is an opportunity to work with a fast-moving start-up, collaborating with a LATAM engineering team and data scientists who are experts in the field.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop our cross-platform app, with a tablet-first design and a slimmed-down phone experience.
* Develop and maintain back-end services using Node.js/TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
* Optimize APIs, schemas, and services for scalability and performance.
* Work closely with engineers and collaborate directly with data scientists.
* Utilize modern AI-driven workflows to speed up development and improve quality.
* Contribute to technical discussions around architecture, performance, and scaling.
Requirements
* 7+ years of total coding experience, with 2+ years in Flutter/Dart.
* Strong knowledge of the Flutter framework (state management, widgets, performance).
* Proficiency with Node.js/TypeScript for back-end development.
* Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, queries, and performance optimization.
* Familiarity with Git workflows and Agile development.
* Comfortable reading, writing, and speaking technical English.
