Chief Renewable Energy Executive
The Chief Renewable Energy Executive is responsible for building partnerships with renewable developers and identifying opportunities to advise on and fund nascent power projects.
Duties and Accountabilities:
* Leadership and Management: Train, lead, and inspire a team of finance professionals to drive sustainable growth within the energy sector.
* Investment Strategy: Develop and execute investment strategies for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring renewable energy projects in targeted global markets.
* Financial Analysis and Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and rigorous due diligence to assess the viability, risks, and returns of potential investments, focusing on project portfolio financing and structuring.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including project developers, financial institutions, and government agencies.
* Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, policy changes, and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector to inform investment decisions.
* Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance of renewable energy assets, optimize portfolio performance, and identify opportunities for growth and diversification.
* Negotiations and Deal Execution: Lead negotiations and execute complex financing and transactions for renewable energy projects, focusing on structuring deals and managing contracts.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
* Financial Acumen: Create robust financial modeling and analyses, develop valuation methods, structure financial arrangements, and assess risk management strategies.
