You'll be joining a collaborative and performance-oriented environment where tangible results matter more than flashy presentations.Position Overview: We're looking for a Technical SEO Specialist to join our team and take ownership of auditing, diagnosing, and resolving technical SEO issues across a variety of client websites. You'll work closely with our SEO strategists and web developers to ensure high-performing, indexable, and technically sound websites. This is a hands-on role where you'll be expected to implement solutions, not just recommend them.Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct technical SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog and Google Search Console.
* Identify and fix indexing, crawlability, and page performance issues.
* Collaborate with the dev and SEO teams to implement changes directly.
* Analyze site structure, sitemaps, robots.Txt, and canonicalization.
* Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals using tools like PageSpeed Insights.
* Ensure mobile usability, proper schema markup, and structured data compliance.
* Generate clear internal documentation and communicate progress.
* Leverage onboarding support from the current Search Marketing team, including 1:1 guidance, training videos, and access to an internal knowledge base.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience.
* Proficiency with:> > Google Search Console.> > Screaming FrogSEO Spider (or equivalent).> > Google Analytics 4 (GA4).> > Ahrefs (or SEMrush; candidates may be trained on Ahrefs if other tools are strong).
* Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and SEO fundamentals (e.G., metadata, canonical tags, sitemaps).
* Strong written English for documentation and collaboration.
* A proactive mindset and the ability to prioritize issues by SEO impact.
* Access to a reliable computer and a fast internet connection.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Experience with WordPress and plugins like RankMath, Yoast, or SEOPress.
* Background in travel, hospitality, or vacation rental websites.
* Familiarity with schema markup and JSON-LD.
* Use of tools like GTmetrix, WebPageTest, or log file analyzers.
* Experience with Google Tag Manager as it relates to SEO.
* Familiarity with Agency Analytics for dashboards and reporting.
* Previous experience in remote environments and use of tools like Basecamp.
* Comfortable presenting findings over video calls.
