Project Coordinator - Automotive UX Study
We are seeking a bilingual Project Coordinator to lead a fast-moving automotive UX study in São Paulo. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical toolkit and on-the-ground research chops to orchestrate day-to-day study operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for moderating in-vehicle research sessions with local drivers, providing light device / IT support, and assisting in building and owning the project plan. They will also run stand-ups with distributed teammates and troubleshoot participant hardware, connectivity, and account issues.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Orchestrate day-to-day study operations, including moderating in-vehicle research sessions with local drivers.
* Provide light device / IT support to keep everything (and everyone) running smoothly.
* Build and own the project plan, working closely with the Ops Manager and UX Research Lead.
* Run stand-ups with distributed teammates.
* Troubleshoot participant hardware, connectivity, and account issues; escalate edge-case bugs to engineering via issue-tracking systems.
Basics Qualifications:
* Residence / Work Authorization: Based in the greater São Paulo area; legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in Brazil.
* Language: Native-level Portuguese and professional-level English (spoken & written).
* Experience:
* 3+ years in project coordination, research operations, UX research, or similar.
* Comfort diagnosing common hardware / connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, Android / iOS devices, Bluetooth peripherals).
* Tools: Google Workspace, project-management suite (e.g., Asana / Jira), basic spreadsheets; willingness to learn proprietary research platforms.
* Soft Skills: Exceptional organization, proactive communication, unflappable in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
Preferred Extras:
* Prior automotive or in-vehicle research experience.
* Prior team management or project coordination experience.
Contract Details:
* Term: 3 months (~40 hours/week).
* Hybrid: Remote most days; up to 2 weeks of on-site fieldwork.
Conversion Path: Strong performance may lead to an offer for a permanent role on the UX Operations team.
