Job Purpose
To provide a quality service to customers in respect to check-in, boarding, special services, baggage services, ticket desk, and Emirates Lounge as per the criteria set forth by the Company’s policies and procedures. Ensure all operational criteria are completed within specified time frames.
Job Accountabilities
1. Identify and meet the standard and special service requirements of customers at check-in, transfer desk, special services, and boarding gates, adhering to service standards and procedures.
2. Follow internal boarding procedures, ensuring priorities, announcements, baggage removal, staff briefings, and equipment availability are managed for smooth and on-time EK flights.
3. Guide team members to uphold customer service levels and assist in ensuring safe and punctual departures.
4. Coordinate with the Emirates Chauffeur drive company for arrivals and departures, ensuring eligible customers receive services and assistance as needed.
5. Oversee baggage arrivals, prioritize bags, assist with missing/damaged bags, and keep customers informed, especially for Premium clients.
6. Monitor check-in queues, assist with baggage and visa issues, and communicate delays or disruptions, including implementing the 'Options' scheme.
7. Prepare and complete pre and post flight documentation, report damages, and assist with safety and operational reports.
8. Cover for the check-in supervisor, prepare flight briefs, and ensure operational coverage and high customer service standards.
9. Support ticketing and reservation duties at the Emirates Ticket Desk, maximize revenue, issue tickets, amend reservations, and handle banking and credit card verifications.
10. Assist in lounge duties, supervise contracted staff, and oversee catering, cleaning, and maintenance to meet service standards.
Qualifications & Experience
* Completed relevant professional training in Customer Services, Ground Operations, and Reservations, Fares & Ticketing.
* Minimum of 3 years’ airline industry experience, specific to outstation requirements.
Knowledge/Skills
* Knowledge of Departure Control and Reservation Systems.
* Understanding of check-in procedures and customer service delivery.
* Fluent in English and local language, proficient in Microsoft Office.
