Responsibilities:
1. Conduct financial business management for the Brazilian branch company, overseeing compliance with fiscal laws and regulations, departmental rules, and company policies.
2. Tax Support: Assist the group in establishing the Brazilian tax framework, control key tax aspects during the setup, and be responsible for various tax-related tasks.
3. Tax Compliance Management: Proficiently master the Brazilian tax system and knowledge, understand the application of various taxes and rates in the import process of raw materials and equipment, establish the tax framework for the daily operations of the Brazilian company, and ensure the business system complies with Brazilian tax requirements.
4. Familiarize with Brazilian tax incentive policies, assist the company in local tax planning, fully leverage local policies, and reduce the company's tax burden.
5. Responsible for assessing local tax risks in Brazil, providing professional guidance on major tax-related matters, and identifying potential risk points in advance.
6. Transfer Pricing Management: Responsible for tracking the formulation and implementation of transfer pricing policies for the company, as well as preparing and submitting transfer pricing documentation.
7. External Relationship Maintenance: Liaise with local tax firms, actively respond to daily tax inquiries and inspections from Brazilian tax authorities and other government agencies.
8. External Policy Response: Keep track of changes in tax policies, interpret them in a timely manner, and proactively address local tax reforms in Brazil.
9. Perform other tasks assigned by the headquarters department.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in the manufacturing industry, with preference given to the tire industry;
2. Major: Accounting, Financial Management, or other related finance disciplines;
3. Bachelor’s degree or higher;
4. Over 10 years of financial management experience; familiar with management systems of listed companies, extensive tax experience, and more than 5 years of tax-related work experience in Brazil;
5. Proficient in English and Portuguese.
