Backend Data Scientist – Brazil
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Data Scientist to join our Core ML Powerback Features Team in Brazil. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend features in core applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java backend development, hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and MapReduce, and ability to design, build, and maintain systems used by multiple engineers over the long term.
We value excellent communication skills and ability to explain system designs and product implications clearly. Prior work on user-facing products, understanding user experience, and identifying quick product improvements is a plus.
