Role Overview We are seeking an expert-level, highly skilled Cloud Systems Engineer (DevOps) to serve as a GCP Specialist and technical builder for our Google Cloud ecosystem. This role requires more than administration;
you must be capable of building architectural change, adjusting systems, and driving modernization efforts. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our GCP infrastructure, from complex networking to proactive cost optimization and resource scaling. A key responsibility is leading and running large-scale cloud migration projects, specifically from AWS to GCP. The ideal candidate ensures our Compute Engine environment is lean, fast, and resilient while maintaining secure connectivity using both native and third-party VPN solutions. The role’s primary focus demands deep GCP expertise, but candidates must also possess significant experience with AWS for successful migration strategy. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Networking: Configure and maintain robust networking architectures, including Cloud DNS and Cloud NAT. Linux System Administration: Manage and maintain the operating system environment on Compute Engine instances, including patching, configuration management, user account management, and troubleshooting core system issues. VPN Management: Build and manage secure tunnels using Cloud VPN, pfSense virtual appliances, and CloudConnexa (OpenVPN) for flexible remote access. Performance Monitoring: Utilize Google Cloud Operations Suite to mon
