DRiV Incorporated is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Analyst to support key accounting processes and financial reporting activities for our aftermarket automotive business. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of financial data through accurate journal entries, account reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Responsibilities
* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by preparing journal entries and supporting schedules.
* Perform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports.
* Collaborate with AP/AR, fixed asset, and inventory teams to ensure accuracy of financial records.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS as applicable).
* Assist with audit requests and documentation for internal and external auditors.
* Participate in system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
* Help track and analyze key accounting metrics and variances.
* Maintain organized records and documentation in accordance with retention policies.
