Lead ServiceNow Developer
A highly autonomous and impactful role that requires deep technical expertise and leadership skills.
This is a 100% remote, contractor position with a duration of 6-8 months. The primary time zone is US Eastern Time. Full-time dedication (40 hours/week) is required.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ServiceNow development, JavaScript, and leadership roles. Proven ability to work independently and in distributed teams is essential.
Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and deployment of certified ServiceNow apps integrated with CMMS platforms. Ensuring robust bidirectional data flow between ServiceNow and CMMS using REST APIs and IntegrationHub is also crucial.
Must-have skills include ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience, and 7+ years of JavaScript experience. At least 2 years in a technical leadership or architecture role are required.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with facilities management or utility platforms such as WorxHub or similar, prior integration of ServiceNow with third-party SaaS systems, and familiarity with asset management or maintenance request workflows in healthcare or enterprise environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and mentoring junior developers, overseeing code reviews and QA processes, and owning the documentation and requirements-gathering process.
