Front-end Architect
We're seeking a seasoned Front-end Architect to join our team. This role combines hands-on development with client-facing consulting, requiring strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.
The ideal candidate will lead and coach clients to deliver interoperable software solutions using our io.Connect Software Platform Suite. Key responsibilities include developing and prototyping JavaScript/interop-based solutions, advising clients on technical strategy, and collaborating with their teams to assess needs and align businesses with IT.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack development, including modern JavaScript (ES6+). Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as React, is essential, as well as familiarity with TypeScript or other programming languages. Proficiency in asynchronous programming, Node.js, and version control systems is also required.
The Front-end Architect will work closely with internal teams to ensure project success, delivering presentations and engaging in live client interactions. Strong client-facing experience, excellent verbal and written English fluency, and experience in technical consulting, solutions architecture, or B2B presales/account management are all essential.
This role requires the ability to deliver projects under pressure in collaboration with client IT organizations. A background in capital markets, institutional trading, or financial services technology would be considered an asset. The willingness to work during U.S. Eastern Time (ET) business hours and occasional travel to the US may also be necessary.
To succeed in this position, you must be able to distill complex technical information into clear, actionable advice for clients. Excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of software development methodologies, and experience with design thinking or business analysis are highly valued.
