The JD Edwards Developer role involves creating and implementing enhancements, reports, and interfaces programs utilizing the JDE developer toolkit.
This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource for JD Enterprise One (JDE), supporting processes and implementing improvements.
The successful candidate will ensure appropriate controls are in place and integrate data for decision makers and business owners to support IT, Compliance, project, and vendor management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as a subject matter expert developer for JD Edwards Enterprise One (JDE) associated with functionality, content, processes, and procedures.
* Gather business requirements and implement a global standard design for the Global Systems Implementation of JDE enhancements, reports, and interfaces with other client applications.
* Assist with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient.
* Ensure JDE development deliverables are completed on time and bug free.
* Analyze business needs, create appropriate functional and technical designs, develop the programs, and perform testing to ensure quality of the deliverables.
* Ensure JDE programs are compliant with IT policy. Build plans to enforce compliance with IT policy and standard user management processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Requirements:
* JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.1 or higher configuration and development expertise.
* JDE Localization experience, preferably for LatAm countries.
* Financial applications analysis and issue resolution skills.
* Experience working with team members and vendors to integrate with SaaS solutions.
* Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and project management methodologies.
* Business acumen and awareness of management and analysis processes.
* Strong PC skills, including MS Office Products, especially Excel.
* Excellent organization skills and verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience working in large enterprises with domestic and international locations.
* Experience working with off-shore or remote development/support teams.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Availability to work CST timezone.
Desired Skills and Education
Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
Desirable Technical Skills:
* Integration with Identity Management solutions.
* Moderate level proficiency with Microsoft Visio or Lucid.
* Intermediate SQL query skills.
