An innovative global CRO organisation in the life sciences sector is seeking a VP, Head of Internal Medicine & Neuroscience business unit. This is a unique opportunity to drive commercial success, shape strategic direction, and deliver operational excellence in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary commercial leader for the Internal Medicine & Neuroscience business, developing and executing growth strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring high satisfaction and retention. Identify new business opportunities and lead the development of proposals, bids, and commercial negotiations. Hold full P&L responsibility for the business unit, managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance. Oversee operational delivery of clinical trials and services, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline targets. Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture aligned with organisational values and objectives. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a deep understanding of the relevant regulatory environment. Represent the business at industry events and executive forums, providing thought leadership and staying ahead of industry trends. Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive cross-functional initiatives and contribute to overall company strategy.Qualification Requirements Minimum 10 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry, with a strong track record in commercial leadership, P&L management, and operational delivery. Experience in designing and/or managing clinical trials in Internal Medicine & Neuroscience. Deep regulatory, scientific, technical, and clinical expertise in the therapeutic area, gained in CRO and Pharma/Biotech environments. Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience representing organisations at executive and industry levels. Consultative and collaborative approach to project implementation.
